In a pattern new to us, a remarkable collection of wool challis patches have been "scalloped" to form a crown-like design, with a muslin ground providing additional geometric interest. Quilting follows the white squares with oval shapes. Backed with a pale blue print. Circa 1875.

Condition: Very good, with minor age spots.
